0.1. SPONTANEOUS DRAWING AS AQUATIC PHOTOREALISM

I observe the currents on the water’s surface. Observing lines, their appearance and disappearance, the emergence of images, the formation of infinite contours, and the traces left by the water’s movement. It is fascinating that these ‘frozen movements’ can also be observed in wood, in our bones, and in other forms shaped by water. That is why I photograph these lines—’actions frozen in a moment’.

0.2. WATER AS AN ORGANISM

All organisms have developed—and thus originated—from water. “The human embryo, enveloped by the maternal organism, floats entirely in water; gradually, it shapes the specific forms of its organs out of that fluid.” (T. Schwenk, *Sensitive Chaos*) As previously mentioned, the same process can be observed occurring in all bodies on this planet. Water is the substance that creates bodies, organs, bones, and structures in which its traces are clearly visible. An organism built of water also depends on the temperature, quantity, and clarity of that water. It is a matter of water systems—currents that determine the climate of the body.
